The coronavirus is spreading. Nations are under quarantine. People are out of work, transportations are limited even our basic needs. The normal ways we are use to do suddenly change, everything abruptly change and we are not ready for it.
In this time we feel worried, we panic and stress and we absorb all the negativity around us. These feelings will make us weak in fighting this pandemic. This may not be avoidable but despite all of these, keeping a positive mindset can go a long way in managing through the difficult time.
There are ways in keeping a positive mindset. Having a sense of Gratitude, being thankful in even small things, like having a job because there are a lot of people who lost their living in this time, be thankful if you have yours. An awareness of the good things in the sense of gratitude. Have faith, prayer is the most effective weapon that can never be destroyed by anything. A time to talk to God can ease all the negative thoughts in our minds. Find a way to help others especially those who lost their living because of this pandemic. Helping others will make you feel better about yourself and your own life.
Developing new skills and expanding your knowledge in areas that interest you are an excellent way to move life forward and distract yourself from negativity. Staying at home will not be boring anymore but it will become productive knowing that you are learning new things and discovering new skills that you may not know you can do. This pandemic is only a test of faith, faith in ourselves, faith in humanity and most especially our faith in God.
